William Monahan who wrote the screenplay for the Departed has commented that The Departed will be released on his birthday which is Nov 3. Warner Bros have not confirmed this but they have indicated the release is due in November. We will update you if we hear anything further! great new picture of Jack which originates from the book "Conversations with Martin Scorsese" which was published Nov 2005,

Hi Thanks for the kind words - the picture of Jack in blue is from the set of The Departed and was taken in New York I think. The picture came from the Russian Photo agency fotobank - so there wasn't a lot of info that we could understand! Unfortunately the pic is pretty small you can see it here
To smarty - I hope it's out Oct 6th too! but I've only see that on 1 site and nothing as yet from Warners so I guess we'll have to wait and see :)
