Exciting news for Jack Nicholson fans, the long awaited release of the film Reds on DVD has finally been confirmed by Paramount. A Region 1 Special 25th Anniversary Edition DVD will be released on October 3rd. Paramount have not detailed what the special features will be but as it will be a 2 disc set, we are looking forward to hearing what the extras will be. They have sent an early copy of the artwork but it is not yet finalised - but I am sure the final will be similar to this. To view a large version of the artwork just click on the thumbnail at left. The UK release date for Jack Nicholson's upcoming movie The Departed has been confirmed as Nov 10 (for other release dates see the Departed Release Date news post below), we will keep an eye out for any info regarding the UK film premiere and whether Jack Nicholson will attend. There was early word of the world-wide premiere being held in Hong Kong and also in Boston nothing set in stone as yet. -- Sara
