Jack Nicholson is on the cover of October's American Cinematographer. The magazine inludes a feature on The Departed in which Michael Ballhaus and Andy Day discuss their work on the project. Army Archerd has mentioned in his blog that Jack Nicholson was supposed to attend a screening and party he was throwing for friends on Thursday but he was unable to go due to "a pain in the neck". He says that Jack Nicholson may have to undergo surgery next week but he does quote Jack as saying "it is something minor" so that's good to hear. I know you will all join with me in wishing him all the best.
