Jack Nicholson's Oscar season begins
Warner Bros Official Awards site has gone live. You can visit The Departed page here and you will see that WB are going to be campaigning for Jack Nicholson to be nominated in the Best Supporting Actor Catergory. We should start to see For Your Consideration Ads soon. I think Jack's main competition is shaping up to be Brad Pitt for Babel. However, there are rumors that Eddie Murphy may also be a contender for Dream Girls - time will tell! Personally I would love to see Jack get Oscar number 4 for his sensational performance as Costello.

Tomorrow we should know if Murphy is any competition for Jack and if Dreamgirls lives up to its hype and will be an Oscar contender. Dreamgirls screening today at the Academy.

as I said yesterday, we should know more today. David Poland and Tom O'Neil are raving about Dreamgirls. They declared it tough to beat a best picture frontrunner. Poland about Murphy: if he works the media, he shoots into lead in BSA.

jack deserves everything he is nominated for...so if he gets nominated for costello...he deserves it
