Happy Halloween!

jack nicholson

Hope you all had a great Halloween. In keeping with the time of year - here are some screen captures of Jack Nicholson in The Terror, one of his earliest films that came out in 1963. The film was produced by Roger Corman and in true Corman style was done on a budget of around $1.50! Although Roger Corman is credited as directing the film, the film in reality had about 6 directors who came and went for a day or two, here and there, notably a young Francis Ford Coppola directed the beach scenes, Monte Hellman (who Jack later collaborated with on Ride in the Whirlwind and The Shooting) worked on it for a couple of days and Jack himself directed the last day of filming! The female lead in the film was Jack Nicholson's now ex-wife Sandra Knight who at the time of filming was pregnant with their daughter Jennifer. The Terror Photos.

The Bucket List start date has been pushed out again and it's now scheduled to begin filming in Los Angeles, December 11. We'll let you know if there is any more news/changes about this -- Sara

Reds Photo Gallery

jack nicholson reds

Hi everyone, sorry I haven't been updating so frequently lately but we have been experiencing a lot of technical difficulties behind the scenes. I hope you've all had a chance to go and watch The Departed. The film has done really well at the box office and is getting good Oscar buzz with Jack Nicholson having a very good chance of receiving his 13th nomination!

I have made some screen captures from the Reds DVD which was released (after a short 25 year wait!) on October 17th. It was a joy to watch this film again in a good quality format instead of on shoddy VHS. Jack gives a really special performance as Eugene O'Neill, the famous american playwright. He really manages to bring to life the essence of O'Neill in this stark and simple portrayal. Make sure you check it out.

He has been earning a lot of praise.

I am in the process of adding the best of the reviews as well as the interviews to The Departed entry in the film section.
